Club Rules

Everyone is entitled to an enjoyable lesson. If you and your child could read the rules it would be greatly appreciated.

A Christchurch swimming club we believe that all members are entitled to safe, fun, inclusive swim sessions. We ask all members, and parents of members to follow our club rules and policies:

All members should demonstrate respect and consideration to all fellow members and other users of the leisure centre, both in the pool, changing rooms and other areas around the centre

All members must follow the guidance of the teachers, this means that no swimmers are allowed in either pool until instructed by a teacher. Swimmers must not enter the pool before the club lessons start.

All swimmers must wear a swim hat – the club has branded swim hats, which are given out free to new members and are available to purchase should it need replacing.

All members are expected to attend their lessons regularly. If a swimmer fails to attend at least 50% of lessons without a reasonable explanation, we will rescind club membership.

All members are expected to be prompt for their lessons, registering at the desk before the start of their lesson.

All parents are asked to stay on site whilst their child in in their lesson and whilst getting changed before and afterwards Swimmers are the responsibility of their parent/guardian when not in their lessons.

Occasionally, the pool is closed at short notice. Therefore, please accompany your children into Two Riversmeet Leisure Centre to ensure their lesson is taking place.

Parents/guardians must keep the club updated of any relevant medical conditions, Parents should also ensure that we have up to date contact details of them.

Club membership fees are due in October each year. For new swimmers join in at other times in the year a pro rata membership fee is payable, Subs are payable in the first two weeks of each term.

All payments must be made in the timescales requested, If there are any difficulties paying, please speak to our membership secretary so-that we can help come to an arrangement. Alternatively, please speak to the desk.

Most importantly, all swimmers are to walk onto pool side with a smile and have fun!
